On a sultry summer's evening around 175 students made their entrance at The Parsonage Hotel, Escrick in celebration of their five years at Brayton College.
Suits and bow ties colour co-ordinated shoes and hair, a classy kilt, frilly frocks long and short stilettos as high as sky scrapers - the students arrived in effervescent mood. The transport; another story, different modes from shiny stretched limos to expensive shiny sports cars, monster trucks, jeeps, motorcycles and even a speedboat, all aided to the annual congestion of the A19.
The students enjoyed their celebrations with non alcoholic punch, canapés and a rather large chocolate fountain with several dips.
The balmy evening provided the perfect opportunity for students to relax both inside the Crystal Room and also outside in the splendid gardens of the hotel.
Excitement and merriment was in abundance and both staff and students had a wonderful time - chilling, chatting and dancing the eve away
The Student Council played a large part in the preparation of The Ball, the food, drinks, room decorations, photographer and disco. A big thank you to all involved.
The next opportunity for students to meet on mass will be on Results day - August 27 th, at Brayton College.
