Welcome to our website. I hope you find the information within the website informative and stimulating.
We live our motto at Brayton High School - we strive for everyone to “be the best they can be” in all they do. We are committed to high standards in behaviour, uniform and the quality of Teaching and Learning. Students learn in a safe and secure environment – they are happy and want to achieve the best they can.
There are plenty of opportunities for students to grow and develop outside of the classroom. We have a thriving Duke of Edinburgh programme, run trips to France and Germany every year and have lots of lunchtime and after school clubs.

Brayton High School has celebrated a successful year of GCSE results. Hundreds of students collected their results from the school and celebrated their achievements with friends, parents and staff.
It was wonderful to celebrate so many achievements with individual students and families. We are so proud of everything our students have achieved this year and
wish them every success in their future plans.
Good exam results are achieved through a combination of hard work
from the students, good teaching and support from families - I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the teachers and support staff at the school for the hard work they have put into realising these results. We look forward to increased success next year.
60% of students achieved 5 or more top GCSE grades this year, with 21 students achieving 5 or more A* and A grades. 90% of students achieved 5 or more GCSE grades.
Year 10 GCSE results are also very pleasing with 100% A*-C being achieved in GCSE statistics and 100% A*-C being achieved in GCSE music. Year 10 Maths and Science results are also good and show the amount of hard work that went into the preparation for the exams. |

The 2010 Brayton expedition to Northern France set off successfully in the early hours of Monday morning, as parents waved us off at 2.00am from the school car park. A mere 14 hours later, we stepped into glorious sunshine at the lovely Chateau Beamont. French motorways and services still shine by comparison with most experiences in the UK and the 37 student travellers had an excellent journey via the Eurotunnel with a couple of pleasant rests. Lots of naps seemed the order of the trip but one or two seemed to manage on just 5minutes sleep and talked for the other 13h 55min!! No names mentioned. We got on with speaking French right away, even if it was to buy expensive versions of 'familiar label' drinks in the shop!
